The &Samhoud culture is special. We give it a lot of attention: our strong culture enables us to make an optimal connection with customers and their work. Next to this our corporate culture is the foundation of a warm connection with colleagues and society, which we never lose out of sight and where we strive to inspire and connect people.
Everyone is unique, we are all connecting
The employees of &Samhoud, no matter how different their backgrounds, share a certain attitude to life and work. Most of us have a real passion: travel, sports, languages, music, voluntary work…and connecting people. Not only in work we share a broad interest, but outside our work we are interested in other people and society.
Our character
The &Samhoud culture can be described as a person. We are sensitive and people minded, trust our intuition and have an optimistic vision on life. We are fighters and not pushovers. We are relaxed, creative and like to laugh. And we want to do the things we do right! We are modest in a crowd, but have meaningful things to say. We are genuinely interested in others and cherish our friendships. We overlook our life as good as possible and like to help others. Our core values are intensity, authenticity and friendship. These values are necessary to be breaking through, inspiring and connecting. Together we’ll build a brighter future.

We strive after equality with the customer, this leads to breakthroughs
We feel personally involved with our customers. We strive towards equality in this relationship. A change project, a vision creation process, a learning cycle, you name it: they are always joint efforts. If we would be hired solely to do our trick we fear the results will not last. In that case we would be cosmetic surgery.
Our need for partnership is shown also in our logo and name. Our name, &Samhoud, is a promise. We put our customer names in front of the & and this shows our connection, it shows cooperation. If we reach that level with our clients, we are right where we want to be: where we can give each other feedback. Doing what you promise; this will in the end lead to realising breakthroughs.
We sometimes arrange a football match, the customer against us. Or we organise an interactive debate, generating new ideas and content for the customer as well as us.

Our office, Maliebaan 55, Utrecht, The Netherlands
On the corner of the Maliebaan and the Burgemeester Reigerstraat in Utrecht (east) there is a stately, old (built in 1904) building that immediately catches the eye of passers by.
The smile
A smile is a breakthrough. A smile can have many different causes, but is always a positive change. The smile of a passenger that is reunited with loved ones at Shiphol airport, the smile of a child that can ride a bike without help, the smile of our colleagues after a successful customer session.
&Samhoud wants breakthroughs and therefore smiles. On a business level with our customers, in society by means of Vision21 and on a personal level.
In 2007 &Samhoud made a photo series with the smile of our employees. This smile represents a breakthrough on a personal level after a very demanding session on personal development. The photos show clearly what we stand for at &Samhoud and we like to share them.
