Europe’s toughest business competition culminated in a tense battle to secure the ultimate accolade of a European Business Award. &samhoud fought off fierce competition to win the Employer of the Year Award.
Ten outstanding finalists came face to face today at the glittering Awards ceremony held at The Westin, in Paris, France, where triumphant &samhoud was announced as the overall award winner.
Now in its fourth successful year, the European Business Awards sponsored by HSBC brought together over 300 of Europe’s business elite. The gala event enables the most successful business people and entrepreneurs in Europe to meet and share their thoughts and ideas on common business issues and opportunities.
Salem Samhoud, founder of international consultancy firm &samhoud: “Winning the Employer of The Year Award at the European Business Awards is a great achievement for &samhoud. In 2010 we also became the #1 Great Place to Work Europe. We have survived the recent economic upheaval by focusing on what we do best: creating value for employees, customers, stakeholders and society. Our philosophy is based on the Value Profit Chain that origins from Harvard Business School: satisfied employees create value for customers who give value for the organisation in return. Our vision guides us. Everything we do as &samhoud fits in our higher goal: Together we build a brighter future. We achieve breakthroughs by inspiring and connecting people. And that has resulted in tangible growth. Our company has tripled in the last three years, in income, in profit and in number of employees. While growing so fast, our employee satisfaction and our curstomer satisfaction have even increased. We are delighted to have won the European Business Award and are very proud to have achieved such recognition, because this way we show that we practice what we preach. ”
The 100 Ruban d’Honneur recipients, who battled it out for ten highly prized awards, were cheered on by heads of state, industrialists, entrepreneurs, and media owners along with representatives from across the 27 member European states, plus emerging and accession countries.
