Manifesto

We believe that connection between people is a fundamental principle and the key to a brighter future. Truly together, we will be able to cope with the challenges that we as individuals, communities, nations, and as a global people will face today and in the future. To stimulate connection at all levels of society, we, the undersigned, support the following:

• We believe in the power of connection with yourself. This means that individuals define their own wishes and capabilities. People who are well connected with themselves are better able to connect with others.
   
• By acknowledging the importance of connection, we will actively try to connect ourselves with others. Acknowledging the importance of connection implies being open to others and other ideas. Secondly, connecting yourself with other people means taking an interest in them. Thirdly, to connect with others involves taking a critical stance, both towards yourself and toward others.
   
• Believing in the power of connection, we call upon our leaders to stand with us in our desire to connect. This means that we ask them to stop polarization and actively use their influence and other means to stop conflicts that drive people apart. A true leader is a leader who connects - not only those he/she leads, but also those who oppose him/her.
   
• By living and acting according to the principles of connection, we hope to inspire others by showing the power and possibilities of connection. Experiencing the advantages of a connected life, a connected world, is the best way to promote connection.

By signing this manifesto, we want to inspire the world: We express our hope and belief in a brighter future as an opposing force to polarization and cynicism. We believe that together we will build a brighter future!
